The first collection introduces three lost birds – passenger pigeon, dodo, and the great auk – our main inspiration comes from Mexican and Estonian old solstice traditions honouring the departed souls. The patterns used combine ancient pigments and geometry, and current selection includes wallpaper, different fabrics, art prints, as well as postcards.

THE GREAT AUK

The great auk was a flightless diving seabird that foraged in the waters of the North Atlantic and with its black and white plumage it earned the title of the „original penguin“.

The eradication of the great auk is a notable example of anthropogenic extinction, in other words as a result of human activity.

THE DODO

The Dodo was a smart, agile, fearless flightless bird living in Mauritius and east of Madagascar. The dodo's appearance in life is evidenced only by drawings, paintings, and written accounts from the 17th century and some even considered it`s existence to be a myth.

The story of the Dodo reveals a fragile connection between species and their environment.

THE PASSENGER PIGEON

The passenger pigeon was a shaped for speed and gorgeous bird, that got its name from the French word passager, meaning "passing by", due to its migratory habits.

The connotation of sensual charm is brought by an alluring rose quartz tone, warm and fascinating as the Hibiscus. Cream colour with its pleasant calmed hue creates a relaxed sensation, effortless as the quiet flight of the bird. We have translated the lost existence of the Passenger Pigeon into opulent patterns, blending the brilliance of nature.
